Conducted by our team of independent CPAs … the purpose of an audit is to provide an objective, third-party review of administrative transactions, financial reporting, policies and procedures, and administrative functions relating to the financial concerns of the Church.

While not designed to scrutinize or verify the absence or presence of fraudulent activity, it does seek to identify policies and procedures that expose an organization the church to potential fraudulent activity. Our approach is custom-designed for each Church based on the inherent risks of “Church World” … and the specific risks of the Church. In evaluating specific church risks, we assess effectiveness of internal controls, and generally test controls in place to ensure their operation.

Our MAG Audits can cover a wide range of audit scope … such as reviewing General Accounting procedures, Budgeting process, Incoming funds process (tied to ChMS applications), Allocation of funds, Payroll process, review of risks and insurances, & etc.
